Rebecca Howson, LMHC is an open and inclusive therapist who works with adults experiencing anxiety, depression, grief and loss along with other chronic mental health conditions.  She also works with maternal mental health conditions.  She approaches therapy with authenticity, compassion, and evidence-based care.

Rebecca uses a person-centered, collaborative approach incorporating CBT, DBT, Solution-Focused and holistic modalities.  She is committed to her beliefs in the power of the therapeutic relationship and creating a space where clients feel empowered to build resilience and meaningful change.  Rebecca's professional special interests include caregiver support and end of life care.  

 

Outside of work, Rebecca is an active, married mom of three.  She enjoys live music and spending time with family and friends.  From gardening to hiking, Rebecca finds comfort in nature and enjoys the four seasons of WNY for the unique gifts it offers.
